2010 Australian Trucking Convention program released

THE Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has released the program for the 2010 Australian Trucking Convention.

The program is set to focus on advising trucking operators on how to boost business and increase road safety.

ATA Chairman Trevor Martyn says the 2010 convention program has been designed with the needs of trucking operators in mind.

“The 2010 program features a wide range of experts in the fields of trucking and business, all focused on delivering practical advice to trucking operators that will improve their operations and make them safer.

Returning to the convention this year will be Chris Richardson from Access Economics who will discus the outlook for the next 12 months.

Other highlights of the convention will also include Professor Ian Johnston, one of Australia’s top safety experts who will speak about introducing safety innovations more quickly, and the briefing about the results from ATA’s 2010 industry survey

The 2010 Australian Trucking Convention will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 to 10 April.
