Agility Wins Green Supply Chain Award

Agility claimed the Green Supply Chain Award at the recent Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards 2009, one of Asia’s leading industry events.

The award recognises the company’s achievement in developing and implementing environmentally friendly supply chain strategies.

It was presented at a ceremony at the Raffles Club in Singapore when judges selected the company ahead of other leading global logistics companies.

The panel of judges comprised leading shippers, supply chain executives and academics from Asia Pacific. Agility was voted as a finalist by readers of Supply Chain Asia, a leading, authoritative supply chain journal.

“I am delighted that the readers of Supply Chain Asia have recognised our progress here in Asia Pacific and around the world," says Agility Asia Pacific CEO Wolfgang Hollermann.

"I would like to thank them for nominating Agility as finalists and the judges for naming us the Asian leader in this field.”

Agility is committed to the preservation and protection of the natural environment by implementing controls to prevent pollution and harmful emissions, reducing over-consumption of physical resources and energy, and minimising waste.
