JON Luff has overtaken the chairperson position of the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) NSW Policy Council, following the retirement of Frank Johnston.

The well-respected industry figure and director of Border Express, Luff has been involved in the New South Wales trucking industry since 1991 and has been on the ATA NSW Policy Council since 2007.

Luff says he has come into the position in an exciting time of the trucking industry and plans to carry on with the plans which have been set up by his predecessor, Frank Johnston.

“The demand for our services will continue to grow, as a result the need for a strong representative body will remain,” he says.
