ICF, ASA partner for 'integrated' freight service AXIA

ASA Logistics and International Concept Forwarding (ICF) have announced they have partnered to form a single integrated supply chain management company.

The new business will operate under the name of AXIA and will aim to provide a full suite of logistics and supply chain services for businesses throughout Australia.

The new company’s CEO Sandra Fairchild said the merger will not create a “super company” however and the small business atmosphere will remain in tact for customers of both businesses, although more services will now be provided.

Fairchild said the company is big enough to deliver the goods yet will not make people feel like they are just another number.

AXIA will operate out of Melbourne, but keep hold of a significant footprint in both Hong Kong and China.
