LINFOX Logistics has been awarded the Logistics Leader Award at the Logistics Magazine Mercury Awards.

In its fourth year running, the award recognises the significant achievements in the supply chain management industry.

Linfox Logistics wins the Logistics Leader award for extending and connecting its current technology systems to deliver an enterprise wide Retail solution, including introducing manual notification ensuring delivery details are now tracked and planned electronically.

Linfox was highly commended for its efforts in the Best Green Initiative Category for working closely with IT solutions company Infor in Australia to build on the capabilities of its Supply Chain Modelling (SCM) Network Design product, which incorporates the ability to model for carbon emissions and take into account the impact of certain events and changes to the carbon output.

The company was also runners-up in the Technology Application category for delivering a 10% reduction in data entry time using the GPS feeds of events.
