PACCAR Australia has confirmed their ongoing commitment to the Australian Trucking Association (ATA).

The manufacturer of Kenworth Trucks and the Kenworth Dealer Industry Group has made a significant financial contribution to ATA for 2010.

PACCAR Australia managing director Joe Rizzo says the company is proud to be associated with the work the ATA undertakes.

“PACCAR and the PACCAR dealer network are delighted to continue our long standing support for the ATA, the peak industry body for road transport in Australia,” Rizzo says.

ATA chairman Trevor Martyn says the donation will assist ATA in undertaking important work in the trucking industry.

“The ATA relies on the generosity of the trucking industry to operate. Without the support of companies like PACCAR and its group of dealers, the industry would be left without a voice in Canberra,” Martyn says.
