Program released for first TruckSafe Members’ Forum

THE PROGRAM for the first annual TruckSafe Members’ Forum has recently been released.

Highlights of the forum, which will be held on Monday 15 November, will include sessions on the TruckSafe Fatigue and Retail Logistics Code modules, Jan Pattison from the QTA, with a case study on Fatigue Management and a presentation by Owen Driscoll, author of NTI's 2009 Major Accident Investigation Report, on why TruckSafe operators are safer operators.

TruckSafe is the industry's leading business and risk management system.

At the forum, TruckSafe members will share information, discover the latest improvements in risk management and speak with auditors about what they will be focussing on in the coming 12 months.

The forum will be conducted in conjunction with the 2009 Technical and Maintenance Conference, which is being held this year from 15-17 November at Silverwater Resort in San Remo, the gateway to Victoria’s Phillip Island.

Registration for the TruckSafe Members’ Forum is $395.00 for the day or is included in the full TMC registration.

The forum is one of the ways the 2009 conference has been significantly revamped. As well as a new venue, the organising committee has also redesigned the program.

For more information on the 2009 Technical and Maintenance Conference, or to register, visit the ATA events website at www.ataevents.net.au.
