SC solution will improve safety for fleet, monitor records

NEW South Wales operator Scott Corporation (SC) has announced it will soon be ramping up its risk management and safety.

SC said it will implement risk management and safety software into its day to day operations by the beginning of 2010.

The company said the move is an attempt to centralise and automate the company’s incident and OHS reporting to reduce risks and manage incidents.

SC Information Systems Manager Ross Pavey said the new software will be a big step in safety improvement for its entire Australian fleet.

Apart from managing safety and workflows, the new software which is being provided by business software provider ComOps will also be used to monitor and manage staff, contractor and equipment certificate records.
