Submissions now open for 2009 T&L Industry Development Awards

SUBMISSIONS are now open for the 2009 T&L Industry Development Awards.

The awards have been developed by the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia, in conjunction with the Australian Logistics Council, APICS, CIPSA, the Department of Transport and Main Roads, and Strategix Training Group.

The SCLAA are also proud to introduce a new category to the awards for 2009, the T&L Experience Pays Award.

The Queensland T&L Experience Pays Award, sponsored by the Department of Transport and Main Roads is designed to provide incentive and recognition for mature-age individuals working in the Transport, Supply Chain and Logistics industries.

There are two awards in this category, the first being an individual who has been in the industry for more than 10 years and the second being an individual who has been in the industry for less than 10 years.

A trophy will be awarded to the winner at a gala dinner on Thursday the 27th of August 2009.

Nominations for awards must be received by Friday 3 July 2009. Submission forms can be accessed by emailing qld@sclaa.com.au.
